This week in Science

This week in science class was better than last week. It was more fun and entertaining. We started off the week by Mr. Finley telling us that his "Lucky" moon rock that was given to him from his 6th grade teacher was stolen. We found some cooprites and tested them for their DNA. The next day Mr. Finley found out that we were doing the whole thing wrong. So Drew was very dissapointed that we had to hold him down and swab him again. We left the DNA in a test tube for a couple days for the AP students to work with. Then, we did an online simulation of what the Ap students would be doing. Then on Friday we talked about the simulation.

What we did this week

This week in science, we talked about the parts of cells for a little bit. Then we went over what each part did. Science was a little boring this week though. We also burned sugar and Mr. Finley hit it with a hammer. Lastly we learned about the DNA in humans and what they do and why they are important. As I said earlier, science was a little boring this week
